In this video, I’m making a hearty and flavorful Flank Steak Salad that’s perfect for any meal! Juicy pan seared flank steak meets crispy bacon, soft-boiled eggs, fresh asparagus, tomatoes, and red onion — all brought together with creamy blue cheese dressing and crumbles. Topped with parsley and sweet glazed walnuts for the perfect finish. This salad is bold, satisfying, and anything but boring!
MARINADE
1lb of flank steak
1.5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
1.5 tsp minced garlic
1.5 tsp red bell pepper
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp rosemary
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp himalayan salt
Toppings:
Flank steak, asparagus, boiled egg, red onion, tomato, glazed walnuts, blue cheese dressing, blue cheese crumbles, parsley flakes, bacon.
STEAK TIPS:
Sear both sides of steak on high heat first then use thermometer to check the temperature to your desired doneness. For medium rare 3-4 minutes each side for internal temp of 130-135. Remove steak at 128 degrees. When resting the heat will rise a bit more.
Steak temperature charts can be found online for your preferred doneness.
Rest steak covered with foil for 10 minutes before slicing
