Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah officially turned the ‘power back on’ for Battersea Power Station, to mark the opening of the Grade II-listed landmark, ahead of its public launch on Friday.
Al-Sultan Abdullah was accompanied by Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, along with to witness the defining moment of this historic redevelopment project in London,
The project is an outstanding achievement and represents close bilateral, and economic and investment ties between Malaysia and the United Kingdom.
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong then symbolically turned the power back on in Turbine Hall A.
At the end of the spectacular evening, where Setia Drummers performed in the Battersea power station, both Their Majesties consented to take photograph with them much to their delight.
It was certainly an evening to be remembered by all.
