I finally did it! After many months, the Faust Symphony is complete, although the final chorus is missing, but (as you can see) the harp and organ are present in the glorious final bars: an honorable mention.
I also made other changes to some notes, which those who are more familiar with this piece will probably pick up on very easily.
The MuseSounds I have is basically the basic/free orchestral package, so I won't speak for all the other sounds available in the catalog.
The fact is that it's very... strange to work with it (the free one). Aside from the abrupt cuts, inconsistency between effects on different instruments, limitations, problematic updates, etc., MuseSounds makes everything very heavy, so it took me a long time to finish the work.
To give you an idea, just uploading the first movement to the official website took days and didn't finish! And in Gretchen's movement, for example, I forced myself not to use the solo string instruments every time the score called for them. It's very difficult to deal with these sounds without using a few tricks.
I won't go into detail explaining the music, the message itself, because the theme is still controversial, but what I wanted from the beginning was to try to bring together everything I liked from different performances into one, as if it were a compilation.
So, Bernstein, Solti, Beecham, Kocsis, Muti, Jurowski, Argenta, and others were a great inspiration, and I even used some specific things from the piano versions.
