Mistakes were made on this one.
1. Didn't check the line before starting up
2. Chose a route where 90% of the holds are slopers on a hot sunny day
3. Wore too many layers
Yes, it should have finished more direct up the face, I was rapidly running out of (pulp) friction up there and the lure of the nice ledge got the better of me. Oh well, one to come back to in Autumn.
