Monster Winter Kingfish Jigging Mission | D’Urville Island NZ

Join us on an epic winter fishing mission to D'Urville Island, where we battled big, fat kingfish in glassy calm conditions. These fish were in absolute peak condition—powerful, thick-bodied winter models that gave us all we could handle. We hooked into some serious bruisers, lost a few heartbreakers (including one that snapped a hook clean in half), but still managed to haul in plenty of prime kingfish and came home with a solid feed.

The winter bite is hot if you know where to look, and this trip proved it once again. Massive thanks to the crew and the gear holding strong when it mattered!
