As part of Harvard University’s Climate Action Week, we hosted a virtual panel discussion on the importance of urban parks and green spaces. Learn more about how open spaces reduce the urban heat island effect, mitigate damage from weather-related disasters, and increase the well-being of community residents. Our speakers will also discuss implementation challenges and approaches to scaling up this vital climate change solution.
