Over 40 BJJ Competition at BLACK Belt

My first competition as a UFC gym black belt. At Grappling Industries.

Commentary for 3 matches, what worked and what failed.

I signed up for my first competition at black belt. Im a UFC gym blackbelt under Michael Herrera and I signed up for my the expert division at Grappling Industries. Grappling Industries was a round robin tournament in local San Jose. I competed in the senior (40+) division at 170 lbs , expert (brown and black belts).

Things to watch: takedowns, hand fighting, bicept slicer, lasso slicer, nogi lasso slicer, saddle, guillotine, anaconda, lock down, gogoplata, williams guard, overhook, zombie overhook, ankle pick, ankle pick takedown, sprawl, takedown defense, deep half guard, half guard, butterfly guard, throat frame, face frame, leg weave defense to saddle.
