The Mitsubishi 3000GT SL. A car in the Japanese sports car era of the RX7, 300ZX and Supra. A 1992 model year sitting in a driveway for over 8 years with over 150,000 miles, looking for a new home and waiting to be brought back to life! We accepted the challenge and bought the car "as is" from a friend. Our first priority was to see if the engine would start. Turned out to be a waste of time ... not even a cough or sputter. Figured it was bad fuel so we focused on that to get her started. We pulled out the fuel pump regulator, replaced the fuel pump, pump filter screen, fuel filter, blew out the fuel lines with compressed air, siphoned out all the stale fuel and cleaned out the fuel tank. Low and behold, with some fresh fuel, we got the engine to turn over! Stay tuned for more video episodes on how we brought this car back to life!
