3-phase, 7 HP, 2-pole induction motor with a Star-Delta starting connection, 36 stator slots, and a speed of 2880 RPM (approximate synchronous speed of 3000 RPM minus slip) requires a precise layout of coils and connections.
Winding Connection Type – Star-Delta:
Star-Delta Starting means the motor starts in Star configuration to limit starting current, then switches to Delta for full-load running.
Each phase winding must be accessible at both ends, i.e., 6 leads come out:
U1, V1, W1 (start of each phase)
U2, V2, W2 (end of each phase)
