Aama Yangri is a short trek. It is near by capital city Kathmandu. Graveled 90km road will take you to the basecamp. Many people start their hike from Tarkeghyang, an entry point of Ama Yangri. There hotels in Tarkeghyang. It takes 3 hrs uphill hike from Tarkeghyang to reach Amayangri peak. You can reach directly up to Ama Yangri basecamp. But there are very few hotels here. Most them give tent service. Ama Yangri basecamp is at an elevation of 3200m. Whereas Ama Yangri peak is 3700m high.
This is a moderate trek. Near from Kathmandu.
