The 2022 NBA Playoffs had one of the best dunk calls in recent memory from Ian Eagle. In game five of the Grizzlies vs. Timberwolves first-round showdown, Eagle yelled, "Ja Breaker," after Morant drained a slam over Malik Beasley by himself. It was an appropriate call for what is regarded as one of the year's best dunks.


With the "Ja-Breaker" colourway, the Nike Ja 2 is paying homage to Ian Eagle's call as Grizzlies supporters hope that Morant can add to his postseason highlight reel against the Mavericks tonight (he is now a game-time decision).


The whole sneaker, with the exception of the yellow gradient Swoosh insignia, is white with multicoloured particles, mimicking the appearance of jawbreaker candy.


The US$140 men's size Nike Ja 2 "Ja-Breaker" will go on sale on May 1st, 2025, on Nike.com and in-store.
