KSR global aquarium is the first fish theme park in India, located in the coastal district of Sindhudurg in Maharashtra. The aquarium has a total area of 10 acres and features more than 200 species of marine and freshwater fish from around the world. The aquarium also has a butterfly park, a bird park, a reptile house, a fish spa, a 3D theatre, and a souvenir shop. The aquarium is open from 10 am to 6 pm on all days of the week, except Mondays. The entry fee is Rs. 300 for adults and Rs. 200 for children. The aquarium is situated in the village of Kesari, which is about 12 km from the town of Sawantwadi and 80 km from the city of Goa. The aquarium is a part of the KSR Group, which is a diversified conglomerate with interests in hospitality, tourism, education, and real estate. The aquarium aims to promote conservation, education, and entertainment among the visitors, especially the children and youth. The aquarium has a team of trained staff and veterinarians who take care of the health and well-being of the fish and other animals. The aquarium also offers guided tours, interactive sessions, and special events for schools, colleges, and corporate groups.
