This online event is designed for teachers who are moving to Edexcel or delivering the Pearson Edexcel International A Level English Literature specification for the first time.
This will support you in getting ready to teach the International A Level English Language specification, with a particular focus on Paper 1.
During this training delegates will:
Discuss the assessment objectives: what are they and why they are used when writing examination papers.
Analyse a recent question paper and learn which types of question match the different assessment objectives.
Investigate how questions have been answered by looking at feedback from previous exam series.
Discuss strategies for teaching to try and make sure students can access questions targeting different assessment objectives.
Network, discuss best practice and share ideas with other teachers.
This training counts at 2 hours of CPD. You will receive an e-certificate by email, post attendance.
