In this episode, we stop off in the Iraqi town of Babil, better known to historians as Babylon...or is it? Despite expecting the sort of life changing historical experience you might find in Egypt or Ancient Rome, all I found was replicas, created by Saddam Hussein in the 1980s. Despite my disappointment at the historical artifacts, the trip was drastically improved when we snuck into Saddam Hussein's Babylon Palace through the back route. A truly amazing artifact from the Second Gulf War.
