Triyuginarayan Temple is an ancient Hindu temple located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, this sacred site is renowned as the venue of the divine marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, which was witnessed by Lord Vishnu himself.
The temple’s architecture resembles that of the Kedarnath Temple, featuring traditional stone construction and a silver idol of Lord Vishnu in the sanctum. In front of the temple burns the eternal flame, known as Akhand Dhuni, believed to have been burning since the time of Shiva and Parvati’s wedding.
Pilgrims and devotees visit this temple to seek blessings for marital harmony and to witness the confluence of mythology, spirituality, and natural beauty. The temple is surrounded by snow-capped peaks and offers breathtaking Himalayan views, making it a spiritually uplifting and scenic destination.
