Now this was an amazing adventure. Join us for a little backpacking in the Red River Gorge, located in the Daniel Boone National Forest, Kentucky.
Special thanks to Jason ( / backpackingwithjason ) for inspiring me (John) to check out Hanson's Point. The images seen here really do not do this beautiful place justice. I had the privilege to watch CJ and Kin's faces when they stepped foot onto that ridge for the first time.
I also got to bust out the spoon carving kit for the first time, so that was fun. The finished product was a little larger than intended but it did its job. I have since been a blistered carving machine, so more on that later.
