Let's start from the very beginning.
Before there was a-ha, there was Bridges: Paul Waaktaar and Magne Furuholmen (together with Oystein Jevanord e Viggo Bondi) were playing music way before they met future a-ha vocalist Morten Harket.

Bridges' first album is 50-minutes long on its original form and highly influenced by the Doors -- not every a-ha fan's cup of tea.

However, what if it were possible to trim it a little bit, by removing some little excesses and highlighting the best moments, while trying to improve the pace and dynamic of the album as a whole?

That's exactly what I have attempted. In this version of mine, you will find all original tracks in order and all the main musical movements, however I was able to reduce the total length of the album from 50 minutes to a 29 minutes total.

I understand that this might displease some purists, and I have no idea what the opinion of the artists themselves would be - in my defense I would like to say that I have listened to this optimized version of the album many times over, and I find myself enjoying it more and more each time due to the fact, among other things, that is is shorter.
