The entire project of the Ram Mandir was funded through donations from devoted followers. Dilip Kumar V Lakhi and his family, prominent diamond merchants from Surat, stand out as major contributors. An extraordinary donation was made by this diamond merchant to the Rama Mandir, contributing 101 kg of gold.This gold contribution will be utilized to embellish various elements of the Ram Mandir, including doors, sanctum sanctorum, trishul, damaru, and pillars, adding a touch of grandeur to the sacred structure. Considering the current market price of gold at around 68,000 rupees per 10 grams, the Lakhi family's donation reached an impressive total value of 68 crores.The contribution from the Lakhi family represents the most noteworthy funding achievement for the Ram Mandir Trust thus far. Noteworthy contributions also came from Morari Bapu, a spiritual leader, who donated 11.3 crores rupees. Ram devotees from the United States, Canada, and Britain contributed an additional 8 crores, and Govindbhai Dholakia, a diamond magnate from Gujarat, made a substantial donation of 11 crores.The Mahavir Mandir in Patna also holds a prominent position in global temple donation, contributing a substantial amount of 10 crores towards the construction of the Ram Mandir. The generosity displayed by individuals and organizations reflects the unwavering devotion and unity of people across the country.The construction of the Ram Mandir stands as a testament to the collective effort and financial support from a diverse range of contributors, symbolizing a momentous milestone in the cultural and religious landscape of India.
