Minneapolis turns to elders for Somali youth crime solutions

Somali Youth Link, a government-funded organization, deploys Somali elders to help keep young people out of trouble in the Twin Cities. Farhio Khalif founded the group during the pandemic, after a rise in incidents involving Somali youth, including arrests for shooting fireworks at police, and now works closely with local law enforcement.
