Jimmy Akin reflects on his recent appearance on the podcast of Protestant apologist Dr. Frank Turek to discuss issues that many Protestants misunderstand about Catholicism.

Here Jimmy discusses a common claim of many formerly Catholic Evangelicals—that they never heard about grace, forgiveness, Jesus, and the gospel at Catholic Masses.

Responding to this, Jimmy charitably goes through the Mass and shows that not only are these concepts there, but that the Church is so concerned that the faithful understand them that it wrote them into the parts of Mass that the faithful say.

As a result, every Catholic has professed these concepts over and over again. The only questions are whether they paid attention and whether they remember.
