200 Subscriber Special - 4 Days in the Outer Hebrides - Lochboisdale to Mallaig - 27/10/22

And so we come to the third and final part of my 200 subscriber special series. This video shows quite a lot from the journey back from Lochboisdale, this time on our way to Mallaig. Videos show Lord of the Isles leaving Lochboisdale and South Uist behind and passing the isles of Canna, Rum, Muck and Eigg (the Small Isles) as well as Skye and Soay, before approaching the mainland with the highlands surrounding Mallaig.

On the way we also sail past MV Lochnevis, the dedicated Small Isles ferry, which during the winter timetable months is also operating a few Mallaig - Armadale sailings per day. She is now the 18th CalMac ferry that I have ticked off with video footage.

Finally then, I have saved the thanks that I owe everyone to the end. This series has of course been to celebrate the passing of 200 subscribers on this channel, but it also serves as a story of what is most definitely my favourite trip I have ever been able to take. While there were a number of personal experiences that I haven't shared in these videos, the entire essence of these four days was incredibly fun to be able to capture and share here. The motivation to do all that, however, only comes from the support I receive from everyone who watches. We passed 200 subscribers around two years to the day after we reached 100. That may seem like a lot for comparatively such a small number, but it's certainly much quicker than the five years it took for those first 100.
