Welcome back to Talking Dragon Age, the show where I talk about Dragon Age. Today, we're finally discussing lyrium. It's confusing. Very confusing. We go over quite a few theories here, such as why it can be used to both bolster and deny magic, and how it relates to the Fade, Titans, dwarves, and so on. We also touch on how it was used in the days of Elvhenan.
I mention in the video that Danarius used Fenris as a living battery. I may be mistaken about that. It's possible he just wanted Fenris to be powerful. I think I remembered the line differently than what it actually was.
In that scene with Dagna where she talks about seeing a Wall of Memory: Notice she says "Remembered." As in, while this was happening, she remembered the Shaperate carve that. That would also match with what Cole says about the ancient Shapers being mountains drawn of all their wills, walking their memories into valleys of the world.
I also may make an addendum episode for some minor things I missed since this video was way too huge as it is. I'm not sure yet; we'll see how it goes.
