Nadis are subtle energy channels in the human body that can get blocked due to several reasons. The Nadi Shodhana Pranayama is a breathing technique that helps clear and purify these blocked energy channels, thus allowing the life-force (prana) to flow freely. Clearing mental clutter and calming the mind, this practice also lowers one's heart rate and helps harmonise the left and right hemispheres of the brain. Add this practice to your daily morning or evening ritual to reap all of its benefits. Breathe well!
