This video shows you how to crochet an adorable charm for ornaments, bags, charms, or anything else you’d like to add some love to :)
Stitch terms (USA):
Dc - double crochet
Tr - treble crochet
Ch - chain
Sc - single crochet
Slst - slip stitch
Instructions:
Pattern is worked in two rounds
Round 1:
Ch 5, 3 tr into first ch.
in the same space, 3 dc. Ch 1, tr, ch 1. 3 dc, then 3 tr (yes, all in the same ch space). Ch 4, then slst to center. Make one ch behind the heart. Round one done!
Round 2:
3 sc in the ch 4 space. In the next two stitches, place 2 sc in each. sc down until you reach the tr at the tip of the heart. Sc on top of it, then ch 1 and slst into the side loops of the sc to make a picot. Mirror the stitches on the other side of the heart and you’re done!
Ending: after you slst to center, make a ch of 35 (customizable to your desired length) and slst it to the center of the heart. After that, ch 2 and cast off. Weave in your ends and your heart is complete!
