NASA Championships PittRace - TT5 Subaru BRZ

Made it to my first ever 'NASA Champs' at Pittrace Motorsports Complex! Pittrace may be my new favorite race track out of all 15 tracks I have competed on so far. NASA GL put on an excellent event for the drivers regardless of the less than ideal weather conditions making for an exciting weekend along side the TT competition.

The battle in TT5 was fierce this weekend as nine super talented drivers took to the wheel lapping a super technical track under many different weather conditions.

Unfortunately, Friday afternoon the car ran (10WHP) high on the NASA dyno rounding my last two seasons (177 AVG HP) up to (182 AVG HP) forcing me to add 100 lb of ballast to the car as my competition stripped weight. Many TT / ST drivers voiced their concerns about the NASA dyno reading ~6-10HP high or ~6-10HP low making for a super inconsistent and frustrating experience in the paddock. Did the best with what we had.

I still had a blast driving a new track with my good friends and overall very content with the (1:57.41) PB at PittRace for my very first time there. Optimal of 1:57.23 from the weekend.
