📍 Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort Review | Beachfront Stay in Malaysia 🇲🇾

In this video, I take you on a full walkthrough of the Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort, a beachfront resort on Malaysia’s east coast that genuinely surprised me—in the best way.

I stayed here for about two weeks, which gave me plenty of time to experience what daily life is really like at this resort. We’ll start with a detailed look at the room layout, including storage, workspace, bathroom setup, and balcony details (plus an important warning about the local wildlife 🐒).

From there, I explore the amenities that really make this property stand out:
A spacious fitness center with locker rooms and sauna
Tennis and paddle ball courts
Multiple swimming pools, including family-friendly areas
Direct beach access with a relaxed, peaceful vibe
Kids’ play areas and plenty of green space

I also show you the breakfast buffet, café options, restaurants, and the Hyatt Regency Club lounge, where I may or may not have developed a serious addiction to their freshly cooked snacks.

One of the biggest highlights? This property is a Hyatt Category 1, meaning certain times of the year you can book it for as little as 3,500 points per night—which is an incredible value for a beachfront resort of this quality.

To wrap things up, I take a walk outside the resort to explore the local market area, nearby coffee shops, fast food spots (yes, even beachside McDonald’s), and give you a feel for what’s within walking distance.
