In this video, I’m sharing my process for starting a garden journal—a sketchbook for documenting the flowers blooming around me, from forget-me-nots and bluebells to lilies, lilacs, and Black-Eyed Susans.

Using brush pens and colored pencils, I’ll show you how to doodle a full garden page of perennials and annuals, add handwritten labels, and even sketch a simple map of your yard. This project is about slowing down, noticing the beauty around you, and creating something just for the joy of it.
