The WATER is so BLUE!!! American Family is AMAZED at Tumalog Waterfall!

We loved our time in Oslob Cebu. After swimming with whale sharks and going out to Sumilon Island, we headed up to Tumalog Falls. It was beautiful! The water was so cool looking. It was some of the most milky water we have seen and it was so beautiful. The water cascaded down multiple levels and looked so pretty. It all looked a little like Avatar to us.

The hike down to the falls was fun. The hill was so steep and we knew it would be tough hiking back up. We could have taken a habal habal, but we decided to get the exercise instead. It was fun to see the falls in the distance. When we finally arrived, we were blown away at how beautiful it all was. It really was so stunning. We had fun swimming in the water and then getting under the falls. The water comes down so far that it hurt when it hit our backs. We got some great pictures and then found the lower pools had cleaner fish in them. It was fun to put our feet in and feel the tickle as they nibbled on our toes. Some of us could hardly stand it. It was fun to laugh and experience that together.

When we were done with the falls, we took the long trek back up the hill. It was amazing how steep it really was. At the end of our hike, we had fun seeing a few monkeys jumping around in the trees. The drive back down to the main road was gorgeous, we could even see Sumilon Island in the distance. To end our day, we enjoyed a delicious lunch and then took the long, bumpy ride home. It was an absolutely amazing day!
