BRAND NEW Emirates 777-300ER Business Class from Seoul to Dubai

Join me onboard Emirates’ latest 777-300ER Business Class from Seoul to Dubai — a flight that delivered plenty of highlights, but also one major frustration. The experience started strong. The food was excellent — fresh, creative, and thoughtfully planned around the late-night departure, with a light, quick dinner service followed by a full, hearty breakfast before landing. The seat and amenities were also fantastic, providing a great setup for sleep on this overnight flight. But there was one big disappointment: the sound on my inflight entertainment system didn’t work for the entire flight. I discovered the issue during dinner but decided not to trouble the crew as they were busy serving and preparing the cabin for rest. When I reported it before breakfast, they tried multiple resets with no success. The cabin manager apologized but said there wasn’t much they could do. After landing, I filed a complaint — Emirates offered me 15,000 Skywards miles, which was frustrating since I don’t even have an account. Despite that setback, this was still a comfortable and well-executed flight, with excellent catering and strong overall service — but it shows that even premium cabins can have their flaws.
