...BLIZZARD CONDITIONS CONTINUING IN SOUTHERN MN FOR THE REST OF THIS EVENING...
Including the cities of Shakopee, Princeton, Stillwater, Mora, Little
Falls, Center City, Red Wing, Chaska, Elk River, Monticello,
Hastings, Cambridge, Sauk Rapids, Blaine, Victoria, St Paul,
Chanhassen, and Minneapolis

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CST THIS
EVENING...
WHAT...A combination of winds gusting 40 to 50 mph, low visibility
in falling snow, and flash freeze conditions leading to icy roads
and surfaces.
WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and southeast Minnesota.
WHEN...Until 9 PM CST this evening.
IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions will impact the Thursday evening commute. Gusty winds
could bring down tree branches.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Slow down and use caution while traveling. Call 5 1 1 or visit
511mn.org for road conditions.
Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
