Eastleigh Station, Yard and Works on 1st June 1990
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of eastleigh Station and Yard taken on 01/06/1990. Filmed from the multi storey car park opposite the station the expanse of the yard and works can be appreciated in this view. An early morning captured many ECS movements and LE movements to begin the days busy activities. A diversity of traction was seen so I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated,but it is not always possible to answer each individually. Sit back and enjoy this latest production remembering all those now long gone Locomotive classes and other types of traction.
