Perfect Travel Moments in Alaska's Largest Park

It’s not just another Alaska road trip — this one’s extra special.

We packed up at the Palmer KOA and hit the road toward Wrangell–St. Elias National Park — the largest national park in the U.S.! The drive itself was half the adventure, with jaw-dropping Alaska scenery around every bend.

We stopped for lunch at a riverside pullout where we broke out the drone and captured some gorgeous footage of the turquoise water winding through the valley. It was one of those perfect travel moments — simple food, big views, and no rush to be anywhere else.

This trip was also a first for us — we were finally a five-some! Ange’s family joined us for this leg of the journey, making the adventure even more meaningful. The miles felt shorter, the laughs louder, and the memories even sweeter with everyone together.
