In 'Only Girl,' I explore the gestures of femininity and the breakdown of information through mimicry as I imitate drag queen Raja's imitation of Rihanna's 'Only Girl (In the World).' In the performance of gender, anyone can play a woman by wearing makeup and hair and adopting certain gestures. From one imitation to another there is a gradual breakdown and subversion of these gender stereotypes.
