On two successive days I was able to capture two Christmas Steam specials.
On Wednesday 3 December I recorded Clan Line at Templecombe as it hauled the Sherborne Christmas Carol from London Victoria to Sherborne - not only on the outward journey but on the return as well.
The next day I travelled to Freshford to see and record Duke of Gloucester as she headed the Dorridge to Bath Christmas Market special.
Sadly I only captured her on the outward journey but I did so twice - once on my iPhone and also on my Nikon camera in a fixed position.
While at Freshford I also managed to record my first Class 60 followed, a bit later, by a more mundane Class 66.
