Keratin Coating (also known as Shrinkies) are heat activated tube locks that need to be heated with the Fusion Iron to lock. When heated with the iron, the keratin will shrink around the I-tip and the hair to lock in place. Heat Control is necessary. This is recommended for advanced stylists with more extension application experience.
The advantage of Shrinkies is no breakage in hair, it is clear so natural hair color is shown, no need to match tube lock paint color to hair, does not flattened or break the keratin on the I-tips and it is voted most comfortable by end users.
