I headed out on a solo camping trip to my favorite trout fishing spot — a quiet campground nestled in nature. But when I arrived, the river was flooded and moving faster than I’ve ever seen it. I wasn’t sure I’d catch anything at all.
Surprisingly, I managed to land a full limit of trout, despite the tough conditions. After fishing, I made my way back to camp for a peaceful evening and cooked one of the trout over the campfire with a side of shrimp and pasta.
This trip had a bit of everything — adventure, calm, and a good meal at the end of the day.
