Scruffy's story - part 7 (eighth year) Taming a feral TOM CAT )

So many people message me asking how he is doing, so here is a short video completed in April 10th 2015. A quick view of where he lives and a nice stroll outside after a long hard winter. This shows some of his "dog-like" behavior.
He's doing very good actually. Just this week we had a vet visit. (About every four or five weeks he goes in for a checkup) He is holding his weight at about 12lbs. 7ozs. now for about 12 months. He still gets an occasional steroid shot when he gets inflammation in his gum tissue. I keep a very close eye on him and he spends a lot of time with me here at work. Laying on a pillow by my computer or stretched out on my lap, or hanging with me in the work area where he has a nice bed in a box on the shipping table. 15 months now since his very serious illness. He continues to be eating good,. Every single day is a gift. He is eight years old now.

Thank you to all the kind people who have contacted us with words of encouragement and followed this project. Even though at times this has been a wild ride, I wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again.
