80 Series Landcruiser Restoring & Upgrading, Rims & Tires. Old But Gold Roam Overlanding

Roelfie's 80 series landcruiser has been slowly getting modded and restored, I tasked him on filming his first own episode on his own, and I think he did a great job! The HDJ81 needed a good front to back on the mechanical side. Althought it has low mileage it is till an old vehicle, and has done a good amount of travel before Roelfie bought it. That means everything from Wheelbearings, Brakes, Suspension, Servicing all had to be done, including a new radiator, water pump and timing belt and alternator, Luckily Terrain Tamer could supply most of the parts and help us get ready for our upcoming trip! It was also time for a new set of rubber and for that we had to get over to Bestdrive to fit a set of new 285/70/17 General Grabber ATX on a lovely new set of Dirty Life Mesa rims! An Overlanding build wouldnt be complete without a storage system and 12v system, for this we head to Bushtech Overlanding Accessories to fit their SUV drawer system, and we paired that up with a brand new Redarc BCDC1250 Alpha charger, Redvision Rogue Management system and a 100AH low profile lithium battery! A Fantastic combo! Next up was to get over to Eeziawn and install a Roofrack, so we can fit their new Explora rooftoptent, paired with a 270 Degree Batwing awning! This build has taken us on a whirlwind, but now the 80 Series & 60 Series Landcruisers are ready to make their way to the starting point of our next adventure!
