दशकांपासून गुन्हेगारी आणि टोळीतील शत्रुत्वाच्या इतिहासासाठी ओळखले जाणारे पुण्यातील कुप्रसिद्ध आंदेकर कुटुंब पुन्हा एकदा चर्चेत आले आहे. न्यायालयाने बंडू आंदेकर, माजी नगरसेविका लक्ष्मी आंदेकर आणि सोनाली आंदेकर यांना त्यांच्या कायदेशीर कार्यवाही सुरू असूनही आगामी पुणे महानगरपालिका निवडणूक लढवण्याची परवानगी दिली आहे. मूळचे पंढरपूरचे असलेले हे कुटुंब १९७० च्या दशकात एका छोट्या रस्त्यावरील व्यापारी व्यवसायातून खंडणी, बेकायदेशीर व्यवसाय आणि हिंसक भांडणांमध्ये गुंतलेल्या एका भयानक टोळीत वाढले. अनेक खून, मालवडकर टोळीशी टोळीयुद्ध, १९९० च्या दशकाच्या उत्तरार्धात राजकारणात प्रवेश आणि अलिकडच्या अंतर्गत संघर्षामुळे या टोळीचे वर्चस्व पुन्हा आकाराला आले आहे. आता, न्यायालयाने निर्बंध उठवल्यानंतर, कुटुंबाच्या राजकीय पुनरागमनामुळे पुण्यातील त्यांच्या वारसा आणि प्रभावावर पुन्हा वादविवाद सुरू झाला आहे.

The infamous Andekar family of Pune, known for its decades-long criminal and gang rivalry history, is once again in the spotlight. A court has allowed Bandu Andekar, former corporator Laxmi Andekar, and Sonali Andekar to contest the upcoming Pune Municipal elections despite their ongoing legal proceedings.
