Today we have shown the #JalYatra of #Bardhamaneshwar in #PurbaBardhaman.This Jal Yatra is held every year on the occasion of the advent day of Bardhamaneshwar. Pilgrims walk 58 km from #Katwa to #Burdwan to bring Ganga water to pour on the head of Burdwaneshwar. Thousands of pilgrims come from Burdwan and beyond to participate in this event. Not only the water that is carried but also the idols of various gods and goddesses are made in this ceremony.Greetings from #postalPALATTE to all on this day.
