360 product photography ad for Duratec Plastics. They wanted something that would rotate, zoom in, and have callouts to highlight different aspects of their products.
For the 360 aspects of the video, this is composed of 62 individual images, similar to a stop motion. There is a 2cm movement between each shot, and as you can see this creates a fairly seamless rotation... it's not jerky at all. This is true even when you take the images and incorporate them into an interactive 360 photo viewer. Fewer images per rotation can, and do, work... but they do tend to look less seamless.
