[WATCH WITH SUBTITLES, i didn't spend 2hours transcribing and synching for nothing!]

Sorry for the poor quality of most of the clips, ripping dvds in 480p isn't all that.... (and you know... 2005 quality at work here)This is 4'40'' and I still couldn't put all my favourite scenes T.T

This is the probably the simplest video I edited in terms of style and effects (not even any text??), but I really enjoyed transitionning the scenes between each other and paralleling them.


Story time !

Several years ago I bought the DW dvd box set s1-s4, I'd wanted it for years, it was beautiful, and finally mine, I watched all of it pretty quickly, it was amazing. Then I ripped all the DVDs, one by one, episode by episode, to use them for editing, but I never made a full video just for it, instead, I started watching the episodes again, slowly, everytime I was feeling down (so not that slowly), and it never failed to cheer me up, and they became my happy place. When I reached s5, i naturally stopped, not because I didn't enjoy them, but because I don't have the same emotional attachment (I have watched all through s12 and have loved a lot of it), so this is why I focused mainly on the RTD era (with a bit of Eleven because how could i not?). Fast forward a little bit (end of 2017 I think), and I hear this song, and it makes me happy and I think of doctor who again, and I start to put clips on the song, and that become my happy place, but I don't wanna force it so I lose motivation, only open it every few months to add a few scenes and close it again. Fast forward to 2 days ago, I accidentaly open it, realise that really, most of it is done, and I can finish it, so I do. And I love it. It's not a perfect video, or perfect editing, or perfect scene selection, but it makes me so happy, so really, this one is for me, and it's awesome if you like it too, but I'm really ok with just me watching it !
