J. S. Bach Prelude from Cello Suite No.6 in D Major BWV 1012 in Moderately Slow Tempo

I recorded this D Major Prelude in moderately slow tempo to offer an interpretation that could serve as a tutorial for cello students to learn this amazing piece. Playing Bach's D Major Suite no.6 in slow tempo offers an unique perspective that allows a cellist to listen to intricate connections between the notes, work on clarity of intonation and have a chance to pay attention to sound quality. Many cellists make a mistake of forcing their way through this prelude by playing as fast and loud as possible therefore developing permanent technical problems which are easy to overlook in fast tempo.
