He is a critically-acclaimed actor, director and producer who is perhaps best known for roles in films like Lethal Weapon and The Color Purple.
While attending San Francisco State University in 1968, he took part in the longest campus strike in US history, joining the Black Students Union and the Third World Liberation Front to establish the first school of ethnic studies in the country.
A lifelong activist, his causes span HIV/Aids awareness, union organisation and the struggle for peace and justice in the Middle East.
His name is Danny Glover, and he is our guest on this special edition of Fault Lines.
