American Black Walnut Cutting Boards | Handmade in England
I handmade and crafted a batch of cutting and charcuterie boards after hunting down some decent Kiln dried live edge slabs.
The boards are a single piece of solid exotic hardwood, finished with food grade mineral oil along with my traditional home made mix of food grade mineral oil and triple filtered Pure Bees Wax to complete them. There are no wood dyes used, nor wood stains, nor solvents and no glue up joints.
Counter sunk holes in the handles and chamfered edge classic design Charcuterie boards. The small cutting boards cut with a juice groove and chamfered edge. Large cutting boards made with juice groove and finger grips at either end. All the boards are made to be fully reversable. After raising the grain then sanded down to 1200 Grade. Branded with the "Skinner" family name.
I always find it fulfilling using raw materials like timber slabs in this case, and creating something new and beautiful.
