In 1986, a parole officer visits the home of Mike Wayne Jackson for a routine check up. Things quickly escalate and the parole suspect shoots the officer dead at point-blank range. The suspect flees the scene carrying only his sawed off shotgun. What follows is a series of carjackings and hostage taking as Johnson runs from the law. FBI agents place the suspect on their Most Wanted List as their fear for the public grows. A manhunt ensues to catch the dangerous gunman before he kills again.
The FBI Files is an American television docudrama series. Each episode describes actual FBI cases which include murder, narcotics, bank robberies, and kidnapping as well as other crimes. These are portrayed through dramatic reenactments and interviews with agents and forensic scientists who worked on the investigations.
