VIC High Country Ep 10 - Nov 21 - Dargo, Upper Dargo River to The Haunted Stream Track

Well I have finally had some spare time to put together the last episode of this trip. While we didn't cover a huge distance we did however have plenty of fun getting out of creeks and over trees. We camped just north of Indian Flat campground on the Upper Dargo River at a little spot we use quite often. It was an awesome night by the fire, lots of beers, plenty of delicious food, heaps of laughs and memories. The next morning was a little slow, but the day was sensational. Until we had to cross the creek back to the main road, due to the wetness of the ground and the normal track in being a bit beyond some of our rigs, it was all hands on deck to drag me out in the end. After winching me out and cleaning up a little, Dean and the boys headed back to Echuca, while the rest of the group headed onwards through Wild Horse Track and onto The Haunted Stream track and that's where things go very interesting. Not far into it, we came across a huge tree over the track, which had been built up by previous groups to get over. Once we got past this obstacle we drove the track littered with fallen trees of varying sizes, through some nice little crossings until we struck a huge tree that was impassable, this is where we had to turn back, luckily another group had arrived and had cleared the tree for us to be able to drive out. We decided to head to Omeo and camp the night so we could get home easily the next day.
