This episode demonstrates the operation of the ZF 9HP Dog Clutches used in select Chrysler, Jeep, Acura, Honda, and Land Rover vehicles. Dog clutches are another name for gears that are manually connected together and disconnected without the use of a typical synchronizer assembly.
