Sometimes it feels like life is fighting us, like God is fighting us, but He's not. God is actually fighting for us! Psalm 46 shows us that the protection of God is ever present, His power prevails, and that His protection and power give His people peace. In times of trouble, we have to learn not to rely on our own control but to lean on God's control. __
