Teams - Recorded Meetings - who can download, view, and where are they stored

Teams Meeting recordings are saved in either OneDrive for Work or Sharepoint. This video covers scheduled and ad-hoc (instant) meetings. We will look at who can download the MP4 recording, who can view the recording, and where in OneDrive your recordings are stored. I have two examples in my video. Example 1 is the Organizer doesn't attend, and I record the meeting. Example 2 is the Organizer attends the meeting and records the meeting.

If you record a meeting in Teams, it is stored inside OneDrive for Work or School in your Recordings folder. Below is a screenshot

Who can download a Meeting recording?
The Organizer can download it. The other person that can possibly download the MP4 is the person that recorded the meeting. No one else can download the recording.

Who can view a Meeting recording?
All other members of the meeting have read access. If external users, all other external members have no access, and the Organizer must share it with them.

Do external users have access to the recording?
External members have no access to the recording. The Organizer must share it to them.

Where can I see the recording if I was invited and didn't attend?
You can click on Chat and you will see the meeting in your chat feed. If the Meeting was recorded you can click on it there. Also, if the meeting was scheduled, you can go to your calendar and open the meeting and see the recording.

Where are channel meetings stored?
Channel meetings are stored in SharePoint, not OneDrive for Work or School.

Channel meeting was not covered in this video, but the recording is stored in SharePoint.
Every other member's permissions are based on the Channel SharePoint permissions.
